Tom Ingram is the Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Bank of Central Florida. Mr. Ingram has 30 years of banking experience. Mr. Ingram has served as President/CEO of two Marion County Banks. Mr. Ingram was President of SouthTrust Bank of Central Florida from 1995 to April 2000, with responsibility for a billion dollar bank and direct management of the Marion, Alachua and Lake county markets. Mr. Ingram´s team was awarded SouthTrust Bank´s prestigious 1999 Market Bank of the Year Award. As President & CEO of Florida Bank of Marion County from April 2000 to May 2005 total assets grew from zero to over $200 million. The bank was recognized in 2004 as the top performing bank in Loan and Deposit growth, credit quality and non interest income production for Florida Banks, Inc. Prior to his roles in Marion county Mr. Ingram served as Director of Lending for SouthTrust Bank of Central Florida as well as a variety of commercial and retail supervisory positions. Mr. Ingram is active in the community serving on the Board of Trustees for Junior Achievement, Honorary Fund Drive Chairman for Junior Achievement, working with Boy Scouts of America, Interfaith Emergency Services, new member and Treasurer of the downtown Business Alliance, serves on the Steering committee for Save the Marion Theatre and a Board Member of Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce for the past 10 years. He has served as a past board chair for YMCA, past board chair for Habitat for Humanity, served on Sherriff´s Advisory Council, Chamber of Commerce member for 15 years and past Treasurer, served on Economic Development Council and numerous other community activities. Gateway Bank of Central Florida was named the Business of the Year in January, 2010, by the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce. Member Board of Trustees Ocala Health Systems (joined 1/2/14).
